Our Crime Alert Program is a way for the Endicott Police Department to quickly provide information to Village of Endicott residents that we feel is important for you to know. Whether it be a crime trends, traffic issues or any other public safety message, registering through this page will ensure you receive the message from us about what’s happening in the Village.
In addition to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, the Endicott Police Department will be using Nextdoor to help us accomplish this mission.
Nextdoor is a place for you to sign up and know what’s going on in your neighborhoods. It is also a place for us to share important news and emergency notifications that are relevant to your neighborhood. Please be assured that your Nextdoor website remains private. Our staff will not be able to see any of the content on your neighborhood website except for the direct replies to our posts. The Village of Endicott is named after Henry B. Endicott, founder of the Endicott Shoe Factory. In 1899, Mr. Endicott partnered with his factory foreman, George F. Johnson, to form the Endicott-Johnson Corporation (E-J). The Endicott community was planned by E-J and in 1906, the Village of Endicott was incorporated. Within six-weeks, the new Village of Endicott established a police force. At that time, the neighboring Village of Union (now known as the Union District) was separate from Endicott and had its own police department.
